Das Center of Narrative Gravitation (CONG), gegründet von einer Juristin, einem Gesundheitsexperten, einem Theatermacher und einem Philosophen, ist ein noch junger Zürcher Verein der es sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat eine transkontinentalen Dialog über die unterschiedlichsten Felder der Kulturen zu suchen bzw. zu ermöglichen.

Kultur sehen wir bei CONG als einen sich immer neu konstituierenden Raum der gesellschaftlichen Begegnung. Wie können, wollen oder müssen wir zusammenleben und zusammen überleben? Das Center Of Narrative Gravitation setzt in seinen eigenen Produktionen, Lectures und Diskussionen Kunst, Wissenschaft und Politik in eine permanente wechselseitige Beziehung und unterstützt Projekte von Parteiorganisationen die dieses Interesse teilen.

CONGs holistische Agenda ist strikt antirassistisch und diversitätsfördernd.

CHRISTOPH RATH

Christoph Rath, born in 1979, completed his acting studies between 1997 and 2001 at the Art University in his hometown of Graz. After a three-year engagement in Linz, he joined the Theater Neumarkt in Zurich under the direction of Reiter/Seiler. There he worked as an actor and director between 2004 and 2008. From 1999-2018 Christoph Rath was a member of the artists' group ekw14.90 and worked in this formation in the most diverse media of the performative as well as the visual arts for, among others, the Styrian Autumn, the Kunstraum Kreuzlingen, Gessnerallee Zurich and Les Complices*, Theater Winkelwiese.

 Since 2008 Christoph Rath has been working as a freelance actor: among others at Theater Winkelwiese, productions of FaxanMax directed by Manuel Bürgin, at Konzert Theater Bern and many more. As part of KMU productions he played in Tim Zulauf's "Genossenschaft jetzt!", "Der Bau der Wörter", "Devi-are- Vier Agenten - Part of a Movie" (Venice Biennale 2001), "Kultur/Industrie/Spionage".

As a writer and director he produced the theater series "MEMETUUM PLEX" 2013, awarded by the city of Zurich. 2014/2015 Christoph Rath works among others at Theater MARIE in "Der grosse Gatsby" and "Zukunft Europa", directed by Olivier Keller, and with KMUProductions in "Pflege und Verpflegung - à bout de soins" (Festival Belluard /Gessnerallee). 2016 Christoph Rath wrote and directed the second season of the series MEMETUUM PLEX ONTOVORE. Christoph Rath acted in "À tous jamais" and "Le Prix de l'Or", directed by Roger Nydegger, Kuckuck Produktion, in Zü-rich/Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Together with Max Merker, Christoph Rath realized "Was ich immer schon mal sagen wollte..." at Theater Winkelwiese in 2017.

In 2018 Christoph Rath received a two-year grant from the city of Zurich and wrote the text for "Die Verwandtschaft, eine Erledigung", which he realized as a director with his group CONG - Center of Narrative Gravitation 2020 at the Guggach Brache Zurich in collaboration with Theater Winkelwiese.
